
Students from St. Joseph’s Children’s Home attended The Outsiders with support from The R E A D Foundation USA and Bullitt County Public Library.














It was a great show and it was super fun riding the bus all the way to Louisville to go to that huge theater. The applause at the end really imprinted on me and made me want to be an actor.

In 2nd grade, we went to see the Lion King On Broadway. I remember all the vibrant and beautiful costumes and masks. After the musical, we went to the Old Spaghetti Factory, and had some of the best spaghetti! I loved this field trip, it was one of my favorites

The Outsiders was an incredible night! On August 18, students from St. Joseph’s Children’s Home and guests from Bullitt County Public Library attended the opening-night performance.
Next up: Disney’s The Lion King on November 19 at 7:00 p.m. This will be our largest group yet—209 attendees representing Kerrick Elementary, Dixie Elementary, Brooks Elementary, and nine community organizations!
